The End: Finale of State of Mind

end.jpg

It has been a long, fun ride, writing this blog every day. I made some interesting posts, some funny and creative poems and raps, some great insight on the world, but my time is done. This will be my 61st  post on this blog (62nd if you count the extra tab) and I would like to hereby announce, the end of my blog. Now some of you may cry, but the quest to stop boredom is not over yet. I will continue to write my book, and every once in awhile I will put an insert from my book here, the fight against boredom continues on, but now, you must take what you have learned, and try to help fight boredom on your own battlefield. I would like to end the blog in a bang, with this farewell poem.

All good things will eventually come to an end,
the broken friendships you wish you could mend,
if only, if only, you could get back your friend,
so much help along the way they could lend.

But the journey was long, and friends were lost,
you survived the journey but you paid the cost,
People you thought would always be there are gone,
what matters are those who stay with you till dawn.

In with the new and out with the old,
the feeling without them is oh so cold,
if only I could once again hold,
but all good things must come to an end.

So I bid you farewell, hope our paths once again cross,
Life without you is going to be a terrible loss,
but we all must move on,
your best friend is gone,
I hope you stay with me till dawn.

This blog has been alot of fun, and if you would like to make money off of blogging also, continue the fight for boredom with your very own blog, make an account here: ( Your referrals will help support my book.)

I wish you all the best, and perhaps you will hear more from me again someday, but until then, check back every once in awhile, I may have a change of heart, and I may once again flood you with insight on the world, and cure your boredom again.

Your Friend,

Through My Eyes

Same State As Your Mind?

brain.JPG

State of mind or state of time, where your at or what you got, who you are or how you think, what you do or what you want to, when you go or when you went, when you were or when you are, what you want or what you need, what you are or what you’re going to become, when you do or after you did, how you think or how you thought, were you there or were you not, what you want or what you got, who you know or who you don’t, who knows you and who does not, how will you know, how will you respond, when it happens to you, what will you do, where are you at, are you where you think, are you in the same state as your mind?

Determination

fall.JPG

Determination is the creation of motivation in your soul.
Motivation is the reformation of your frustration as a whole.
Frustration is the foundation of the sensation of control.
Sensation is the translation of frustration into coal.

Coal is the will driven by your mind.
Coal moves you forward, but it’s steering is blind.
Determination keeps you on track, it keeps you aligned.
Determination is success, but success is undefined.

Coal is the sensation of frustration translation.
Control is the sensation from the foundation of frustration.
Whole is the frustration reformation received from motivation.
And your soul is the creation of motivation driven by determination.

Nomad Theme Song

Published by throughmyeyes under Poetry/Rap Edit This

nomad.JPG

Here is a theme song I wrote for nomads everywhere.

I walk all around with no aim for location
One night I’m here, next I’m across the nation
With no plans for the future I wander the land
I do everything on the fly and completely unplanned

One night I find myself wandering
Where will I be tomorrow, I’m pondering
I run across a book and what do I see
The rules of how a nomad should be

I turn to the table of contents and stare
Turn to page 6, the first rule is there
I look at the rule, I was unaware
To be a nomad, you must be an heir

The next rule in the book says a nomading license is required
But in order to earn one you must be truly inspired
The way you live life must be completely rewired
And once a nomad, you’ll never be retired

After years of struggling you can finally take the test
But in order to pass, you must be really obsessed
You can only live in the past, present, but no future tense
When their scoring the test, you can almost taste the suspense

I turn a few pages and the next rule is posted
Nomad’s food can never be toasted,
To toast something would mean that you had a plan
That would also mean you can’t be a milk man.

To plan where your going you could have your license revoked
You can never look forward to something, never be stoked
To be stoked would mean you know what is coming
Nomads make music, only by humming.

Nomads may also build a time machine
As a nomad, you may go in between
Using time travel only shows the foreseen
But to me this idea sounds obscene…

Nomads feed the earth, bio-degradable food thrown by a plant
Plants usually eat water, but old food will enchant
A bond between nomad and earth is a must
To the needs of the earth, a nomad must adjust

Another rule I read, nomads can’t have a home
No place to plant your nice garden gnome
No place to park a car with wheels of chrome
No stationary place for your hair, to comb

I never knew being a nomad was so hard
All of these rules on my mind, they bombard
They seem so complex, some I want to discard
But I want to be a nomad, so I must be die hard.

AT&T Rap

Published by throughmyeyes under Poetry/Rap Edit This

I’m going down town and trouble is stirring
With so much adrenaline my vision is blurring
I whip out my cell phone and get ready to call
But I don’t have AT&T which is my downfall

No bars on my screen, my call won’t go through
Yesterday was the I-phone’s big debut
Maybe I should switch then I’ll call you.
But instead I have a no service issue.

Stuck in a predicament, I sure am
I heard the I-phone has a web cam
It also has a myspace program

I could check my friends status and what their doing
Join their events, see some cows mooing
Make plans of my own, ideas I’m brewing
But instead my wallet, the phone companies screwing

I just realized I’m being attacked by a bad guy
With no phone service, could really use an ally
Just then a member from AT&T will comply
He appears from a bush that was nearby
Gave me a new phone, put my old on standby
I made a call and coming here is my supply
Doing ninja flips gravity I will defy
I own the bad guy, now I say bye bye
With the help of AT&T now I can get some shut eye

This is the story of how AT&T saved my life with their service
Before I had them I was always nervous
But now that their on my side I wont lose
Next week I am going on a cruise
Even in the ocean I can get bars
AT&T gets you in with the stars
Now my story is coming to an end
Now my service I shall extend…

Boredom Poem

Published by throughmyeyes under Poetry/Rap Edit This

boredom.JPG

I wake up in the morning and eat my food
I wanna take a shower so I get nude
I put on some new cloths and comb my hair
I wanna go do something, but when and where?

I call up some friends but no one is home
Everyone is busy and I’m all alone
Maybe I will try calling their cell phone
One friend answers, but it’s a milestone
Its his moms birthday and he can’t clone
Can’t satisfy both, so he must postpone
Maybe next time, hopefully I’ll condone
Guess I was right, I’m all alone…

Now what can I do all by myself
I look around on my bookshelf
But then I realize I don’t read
Books can never fulfill my need

Back to square one is where I’m at
I know I sound kinda like a brat
Don’t wanna just watch TV, then I’ll get fat
But with no other choice, on my couch I sat.

Watching TV is what I’m doing
My favorite movie, I am queuing
In a few minutes it’s what I’ll be viewing.
But another day is what I’m ruining.

Tomorrow is another day
Maybe my friends won’t be away
The possibilities, what a wide array
We could even go to the buffet
Drive anywhere on the freeway
Say anything that we dare say
Go play some music and be a DJ
Go get some ice cream or a parfait
Or yet again the message, they’ll relay
I’m too busy, today’s my mom’s birthday…
